Hands down, one of the best burger in Memphis. You'd probably drive right past this area and not even know the store was there. With a recent fire though, they have been down for some time. I am hoping they open back up soon because this is one place all burger-lovers need to try out.
Great big burgers that are delicious and their price is right! Good value, great taste. Not an eat in place, take your burger to go and enjoy! Ms. Roxy was there today, sweet lady.
They're baaaaaack! $7.36 for a burger, fries and canned soda. It ends up being enough to eat for the whole day too. Roxie's is an institution for this part of town. The kitchen had a fire and it ended up on the news. Now that they have reopened, here's your chance to try their delicious burger. I ask for light salt on my fries, FYI. Order your meal at the counter and they will hand off your order to the grill team. You get your burger wrapped in plastic with a bag and napkins. Take your little bag, drive down to the Mississippi River, park your car and bon appetite!
Great Old time grocery with a Grill in the back. And as everyone else has mentioned, the burger is EXCELLENT! The beef patty is cooked to pefection (IMHO) to where the beef patty crumbles in your mouth with every bite, and the flaver is wonderfull! They make it to order and ask you what toppings you would like. Its a great place to get a to-go burger! Burger, large crinkle cut fries (my fav) and a can of soda for 6 bucks. Its AWESOME!
Small old-fashioned convenience store off North 3rd with no seats and no room but a DELICIOUS burger with a full menu. The breakfast plates look delicious, but I've only tried the awesome Mr. Goodburger pictured here with double meat, American, Pepperjack, 5 slices of bacon, grilled onions, and all the condiments and fixings. I highly recommend.
For what it is, this hole in the wall makes great burgers. This place is lacking in almost every facet except character and taste. They hide nothing behind walls, the ingredients are on display for you as well. Definately better than homemade! 10$ buys you a monstrosity-like meal which requires a fork. 5$ buys a cheeseburger drink and chips. Have been back several times so far since first stumbling onto this place.
